We had very high expectations! The place was empty...not a single guest the entire 2 hours we ere there, and it looked like the exclusive hotel had no guests either...I almost fell down a set of stairs. The waiter was very pleasant, but knew very little about food, and didn't even know what a Kir Royal was...nice guy, Fabrizio. The chef, with no other guests didn't give a shit about how we liked the food, and never showed himself. The food was, at best mediocre. I myself am only a hobby and house chef, but my food is ten times better. My wife was disgusted by the salad she had, and our friend's pork loin was only a touch better than tasteless. $300 for the 3 of us, which we were expecting. Too early in the season? No hotel guests? too expensive for the island? who knows...but if the food doesn't work, nothing else does, and it didn't.
